Who can open a bank account with Atlas Banking?

Companies (LLCs, IBCs, Limited Companies), Trusts, Partnerships, Foundations and Individuals may all open an account with Atlas Banking.

We accept applications from over 60 countries.

How will my money be protected?+

Each depositor (bank account holder) will receive deposit protection insurance up to $250,000. Provided by The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). Relevant bank accounts provided by Cross River Bank; Member of FDIC.

FDIC insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government.

What can I do in online banking?

Our online banking can be accessed 24/7 via desktop and mobile browser (mobile app coming H2 2022 for iOS and Android).

Can I apply for a bank account remotely?

Yes, we only accept online applications. All applications must be referred by a Corporate Service Provider (CSP). This helps us to ensure that all formation and KYC has been carried out inline with our internal policies.

What documents are required for opening a bank account?

The following documents are required:
Any official document not in English must be translated by a registered or licensed professional translator.

1. Certificate of incorporation

2. Board of directors and ultimate beneficial owners
Shareholder and directors register document (or equivalent)

3. KYC pack for directors and ultimate beneficial owners
ID and Proof of Address (dated within 3 months)

4. Proof of business address
Must be addressed to your company e.g. rental agreement or utilities bill. If one can't be provided, we can support.

Please note: the ID document must be either a passport, driving license or national ID card (front and back). Residential addresses may be provided as a bank statement, utilities bill or driving license (where passport is provided as ID).

How long does it take to open the bank account?

Once an application is made online, we aim to provide an initial response within 24 hours. On average accounts are opened within 48-72 hours.
